FDA Clears New Skin and Surface Treatment Applicator for Use with Xoft's Axxent Electronic Brachytherapy (eBx) System
Axxent® Surface Applicator
The Axxent eBx™ System now enables radiation oncologists to treat surface lesions with the Axxent Surface Applicators. The addition of the Surface Applicator expands the capabilities of the Axxent System, which is already used for breast and endometrial treatments.
The Surface Applicators are available in the following sizes:
- 10 mm diameter
- 20 mm diameter
- 35 mm diameter
- 50 mm diameter
