Axxent® Applicators
The Axxent eBx™ System is designed to simplify the radiation therapy procedure and is an attractive alternative for physicians and patients desiring greater flexibility and patient comfort. While reducing the number of required treatments, eBx delivers a targeted prescribed dose of radiation directly to the site where cancer recurrence is most likely, minimizing exposure to healthy tissue. The Axxent System may be currently used for accelerated partial breast irradiation after lumpectomy and for irradiation in endometrial and skin cancer treatments.
The Axxent Applicator provides a channel for the Axxent X-ray Source to deliver high dose rate, low energy radiation directly to the targeted area.
