  American Brachytherapy Society (ABS) American Society of Breast Surgeons (ASBS)
Age ≥ 50 years ≥ 45 years
Diagnosis Invasive ductal carcinoma Invasive ductal carcinoma or ductal carcinoma in situ
Size ≤ 3 cm ≤ 3 cm
Margin Status Negative; no tumor involving linked margin Negative at least 2 mm in all directions
Nodal
Status
Negative; axillary lymph node dissection or sentinel lymph node evaluation Negative; axillary lymph node dissection or sentinel lymph node evaluation
