An estimated 241,000¹ women in the United States alone will be diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007. It is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in women. But with today’s technology, an early diagnosis can often mean a chance to aggressively act on the disease, increasing the chances of success. In fact, death rates from breast cancer have steadily decreased since 1990 thanks largely in part to early detection and improved treatment.
